The constitution had laid down several basic laws and values.The Constitution gives more powers to the Central government rather than state government as it is more superior in all controls of a country. The State government functions according to the certain rules and principles laid down by the Central. However, both regulates within the instructions of the Constitution.

A central government is the government that is a controlling power over a unitary state. Another type of distinct but sovereign political entity is a federal government, which may have distinct powers at various levels of government, authorised or delegated to it by the federation and mutually agreed upon by each of the federated states.
