The daffodils made the poet happy because once the poet was moving aimlessly over the vales and hills, all of sudden he saw a large number of golden daffodils which were beside the lake and beneath the trees. It appeared to the poet as if the daffodils were dancing in the breeze. The poet looked at the daffodils and thought that the daffodils has given him abundance of pleasure and delight.
