Why do you think the density of population is more in Ganga brahmaputra basin?
Answers
My Answer:
History is proof that civilizations grew around rivers.
The Ganga-Brahmaputra basin is extremely rich in fertile soil and the flat plains offer a vast scope for development of railways, roadways, farming, herding, construction of commercial and residential complexes etc.

People prefer to live in the Ganga-Brahmaputra basin as they are also provided with two sources of water (from the rivers).
Hence, population density is more in the Ganga-Brahmaputra basin.
