Answer:

The East India company started was established for trade with India after the industrial revolution in England as India was a great market for British goods and a good supplier of raw material but after understanding the flaws of the Indian society they decided to infiltrate the society. The infiltration stated after the battle of Buxar ( as they owned territory after that )  and changed into a structural administration for Indian colony comprising of a separate office for every sector ( mainly administration and revenue ). After the establishment they  felt shortage of people in there offices and started employing Indians as they worked at low wages and were hardworking but they were never employed as a higher level officer due to following reasons :-

1) The company continuously took preventive measures to avoid an uprising in there colonies not allowing the natives to work at higher posts was one of those measures as they thought by allowing natives at higher posts they will lose supremacy and power.

2) The company's rule was based on the evils of society and allowing an Indian on a higher post could become a catalyst for their eradication.

3) If the natives understood details of their exploitation and economy the would start being rebellious and allowing natives in higher offices will be equal to handing out this information themselves.

4) The Englishmen also considered Indians inferior and would never work under an Indian.
