Answer:It was a due because on that time the mostly trades were made for goods like fibre or food.Due to the river the grounds were good for harvesting plants for both food and fibre.This made these valleys as a shipping ground and also a trading ground.Which attracted people towards these valleys and settled a big civilization on these grounds, which were near the rivers.
