The nobles and members of the court refused to adapt to a woman ruler because during the periods such as Sultanate and Mughal , women were considered inferior and lowly.

During Raziya's short term rule she found it not possible to administrate such a state with backward thoughts and ideologies. Apart from royal members, nobles even the residents and citizens of the state felt that Raziya was not a able ruler. In simple words, people refused and did not accept rules and orders given by a women as women were not given the importance during that age , how much ever she tried, she could not earn the trust and belief of her country men .
