why do you think the poet named the poem 'mother and the mouse' and not just 'the mouse ' ?

it's becz the poem highlites the power of mother the poet says mother is not fear of anything doesn't fear of darkness, doesn't make feel him shiever , the poet also shows that his mother helped him for over come from fear .
