Why do you think the rock is harder inside than outside?

ashmitkumar2: Most rocks are basically crystals, cemented together with mineral 'glue' such as calcite or silica. ... Rocks arehard because the minerals of which they are formed are hard, at least to varying degrees.

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER FRIEND,

==> ROCK IS HARDER INSIDE MORE THAN OF OUTSIDE AS FROM INSIDE THE ROCK IS PROTECTED, IT DOESN'T GET AFFECTED BY OUTER ATMOSPHERE AND REMAINS SAFE AND PROTECTED.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU.

the rock is harder inside than outside because outside faces all kind of situations like heat , cold, rain and inside don't faces .
