Kerala and West coast gets rainfall from south west Mansoon, Whereas Tamil Nadu and East Coast recieves rainfall from North East Mansoon.

Western ghats acts as barrier to the Mansoon winds in Both cases.

Only southern part of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Srilanka recives rain from both Monsoons
