Yes i think that students played a major role in demanding a separate state of Telangana.They struggled a lot for separate Telangana.They fought equally with our KCR sir.They did not even step back to give their lives for separate state of Telangana.Many of them did suicide by jumping off the cliffs,burnt themselves in fire and etc.,So i think that students played a leading role in demanding a separate state of Telangana
