Within the poem, the tiger is beautiful but at the same time fierce and terrible. ... We can see that on a personification, the "What immortal hand or eye" (3) mention in the first and last stanzas is that of God, and the "he" used "his hand and eye" to marvel the powerful beauty of the tiger and wonder at its creator
