our information about the modern period is much more than the medieval period ,in most ancient periods people were not bothered about keeping the records of events of their activities........with the growth of Civilization ,people became more conscious of recording events..with the development of language people are capable of recording their events and conveying them to others...... availability of record is most available in the middle ages than in the case of ancient period..........therefore we can say that give more information about the mediaeval period than the ancient period

Answer:

The number and variety of textual records increased dramatically during this period. They slowly displaced other types of available information. Through this period paper gradually became cheaper and more widely available. People used it to write holy texts, chronicles of rulers, letters and teachings of saints, petitions and judicial records, and for registers of accounts and taxes. Manuscripts were collected by wealthy people, rulers, monasteries and temples. They were placed in libraries and archives.
