Why do you use a metre bridge for the measurements rather than a voltmeter and an ammeter in the thermistor experiment

We use metre bridge over voltmeter or ammeter in this experiment because the metre bridge gives accurate reading and measurement but due to the resistance factor voltmeter and ammeter are not able to provide exact reading
