Explanation:
Yes. Boys can join in Junior Division (JD) and girls can join in Junior Wing (JW) of NCC from 8th standard. Period of training will be 2 years and you can obtain NCC ‘A’ certificate at the end of tenure.
You will be able to attend all camps such as RDC, TSC, NIC, Trekking, CATC, ATC, etc and can achieve a rank upto Sergeant (SGT) depending upon the performance.
To join NCC, contact the Associate NCC Officer (ANO) who is the incharge of NCC in educational institutions. Enrollment generally happens at the starting of academic year.
