soap solution is a hypertonic solution, i.e,more concentrate our skin cells .as we know ,when the cell is immersed in a hypertonic solution ,water diffuse out of cell by osmosis due to lower concentration f water outside of the cell .as a result ,the cell shrinks .the process is osmosis .during washing clothes exomosis takes place in the skin cell.This leads to shrinkage of skin over the fingers while washing clothes for long time
