our body requires water. it helps to carry out many chemical processes in the body.However it is not necessary that you drink only 2litres a day. the amount should be according to the climatic conditions. for eg- right now in summers we should at least drink 4-5 litres of water every day. it restores all the water from the body that is lost due to perspiration.
