HCl is a strong which is fully ionize in the solution

Hence 1 M HCl = 1 M H+

While CH3COOH is a weak acid which will not fully ionize

[H+] = (Ka x Cacid)1/2 = (1.8x10-5 x 1.0)1/2 = 4.2 x10-3
