why does a beam of light bend when it enters glass at an angle why does it not bend if it enter the glass at right angle

because the property of light is travelling in a straight li.....!!!!!

When a light ray enters from one medium to another the light bends as the refractive index for different mediums are different but when light is in perpendicular direction it is along the normal and hence it does not bends
