Formula is .
Xç = 1/√ LC
where Xç= impedence ( resistance)
For DC capacitance is always 0.
apply on the formula.
XÇ=1/0 = infinity.
that means for capacitance the resistance is infinity.
So capacitance blanks DC and allows ac.
