Why does a compass needle get deflected when brought near a current carriying conductor and near a bar magnet?

becoz as the current carrying conductor produces electric field ,it produces magnetic field as per the proof of Maxwell and Hertz experiment

the compass uses earth's magnetic force to show direction,when u bring the compass near a magnet or a conducter the magnet in compass would attract or repel to the magnet or conducter,making it show the wrong direction
