why does a conductor get heated up when an electric current flows through it ?List the factors on which the heat produced in a conductor depends? state joules law of heating? how will the heat produced in an electric circuit be affected if the resistance in the circuit is doubled for the same current?

When current flows through a conductor, heat energy is generated in the conductor. The heating effect of an electric current depends on three factors: The resistance, R of the conductor. A higher resistance produces more heat

When an electric curent passes through a conductor of electricity and heat then the conductor generates heat

This heat is due the carges tht constantly rubbing on each other and on walls of the conductor

The heat produced in a conductor depends on a number of issues such as

>the length of the conductor

>the thickness of the conductor
