Why does a cool water bottle taken out from refrigerator get water droplets on its surface.

The amount of water in the air around us varies and is called humidity and can be measured, usually as relative humidity.

If you lower the temperature of the air to the point that it is saturated with water, any further cooling would produces mist or tiny drops of water that have condensed. This temperature is called the dew point.

Right now, my home in warm, humid state of Georgia has condensation on the outside of my single-pane windows. The outside air touching the glass has cooled below the dew point and water has condensed.

The same principle applies to a cool drink bottle in humid air.
