Why does a desert cooler cool better on a hot day summer

desert cooler works on the principle of evaporation and if the day is hot then more evaporation is going to take place making it work efficiently.

on humid day however it won't work properly because air will already have much amount of water molecules.

A desert cooler is better in a hot day because evaporation occurs which causes cooling ,this makes our surroundings cool In a desert cooler water is made to be evaporated ...on a dry hot day the amount of water vapour present in the air is less, thus the water present in the desert cooler evaporates more and causes more cooling
