A desert cooler cools better on a hot dry day because the humidity is less in the atmosphere. The rate of evaporation increases with the increase in temperature . If the humidity is less then tge evaporation is more thus this gives better cooling effect.

HEY YOUR ANSWER IS ...........
A desert cooler ( an evaporation cooler ) is a device that cools air through the evaporation of water.
The cooling in desert cooler is caused by evaporation of water. A desert cooler cool better on a hot and dry day because the higher temperature of a hot and sunny day increases the rate of the evaporation of the water ( because more evaporation is done in high temperature ) . Therefore , due to high temperature the air becomes dry and the dryness of air also increases the rate of evaporation of water. Thus due to increase rate of evaporation of water a desert cooler cool better on a hot and dry day .
