A FARMER PLOUGHS OR TILLS THE FIELD OR SOIL BEFORE SOWING OF SEEDS.THIS LOOSENS AND TURNS THE SOIL.THIS ALLOWS ROOTS TO PENETRATE INTO THE DEEP SOIL AND RESPIRE THROUGH AIR SPACES.
PLOUGHING ALSO RESULTS IN THE PRESENCE OF EARTHWORMS AND MICROBES THAT FURTHER TURN THE SOIL AND BRING THE MINERALS TO THE TOP AS THESE PLANTS HAVE ROOTS JUST CM BELOW SOIL.AND SO TO EXTRACT ALL MINERALS ,WATER AND NUTRIENTS PLOUGHING IS DONE WITH A PLOUGH,HOE OR TRACTOR DRIVEN CULTIVATORS...!!:-) ;-) :-D
