Why does a farmer rotate crops in the fields ?

the legumines plants provide nitrogen to the soil which is important for crops to grow thats why the farmer keep rotating other crops with legumines crops.

Farmer rotate crops in the fields to maintain the fertility of the soil throughout the year. It will not decrease the quality of the soil and a specific nutrient will also not be lost.
