Why does a fountain pen leak at a high altitude?

A fountain pen filled with ink contains some air at the atmospheric pressure on earths surface....at high altitide tje outside atmospheric pressure falls....thus excess pressure inside the rubber tube in the fountain pen forces ink to leak out...hope this helped..
