the atmospheric pressure decreases with altitude because gas ⛽ molecules which make up the air concentrate near near lower altitude in response to earth gravity

the pressure in higher altitude is low
due to less dense air and decrease in g
the pressure of the ink in the capillary of the fountain pen being more than that of the atmospheric pressure in high altitudes leaks out( flows from high pressure to low pressure)
