Amphibians spend part of their life cycle in water and part on land. Thelife cycle of a frog begins with a fertilized egg. As the immature frogdevelops it is transformed via the process of metamorphosis into an adult frog. The tail is absorbed and the external gills are replaced by lungs.

as during evolution many organism adapted the terrestial life and after that many came back in aquatic life.....as it is not completly true that frog adapts and terrestrial life because it do posses both aquatic and terrestrial life style thus they are amphibians

during metamorphosis tadople begins to make lungs in themselves thus they can adopt both lofe style
