Frogs croak before a storm because storm consists of humid air and lot of moisture is present in it.

Frogs need to keep their skin wet so this moist air help them in keeping them wet and due to this they feel more ccomfortable.

croaking of frogs get loud to stay more longer wet and to keep their body moist

They also croak to attract thier mates or partners
