Why does a glass containing ice produce drops of water?

The glass which is kept  on open air normally get's in contact with the glass the air which is normally high in temperature when getting in contact with the ice losses energy and turns into water vapours

The water with ice is very cold , this makes the air near the glass turn into water vapours which stick to the glass , this process is called condensation
