Answer:

The hot water kills the leaf and the alcohol breaks down the chlorophyll, taking the green color out of the leaf. When you put iodine on the leaves, one of them will turn blue-black and the other will be a reddish-brown. Iodine is an indicator that turns blue-black in the presence of starch.

Answer:

In plants when we checks the presence of starch in the leaves in this process we take 2 plants one placed in sunlight for one day and second one is  kept in dark room where sunlight is not coming.

After one day we take both plants leaves for checking present of starch in it then we boil it in alcohol solution for removing of green pigment in it.

The removal of green pigment the starch is changed their color from brown to dark blue when we put a drop a drop of iodine on leaves.

Then we find that the sunlight is essential for the photosynthesis process.
