Due to the refraction of the light by water and glass the size of the lemon appears to be bigger than its actual size

as the light rays passes through the glass and then water the light bends two times while entering glass it bends towards normal and when passing through water it bends away from normal this bending of light enables us to see an apparent position of lemon resulting in larger appearance of lemon
