Because a infinite no.of images are formed(no. of refraction is more) when the mirror is thick.

Answer:
- Mirror reflection has nothing to do with the thickness of the glass where the reflection material is spreaf on ( if galss is used)
- Using galss there are two types of mirror , one if the reflecting material is on the forward face of the galss or on the backwar face of the glass .
- In the first case , reflecting material is on the glass irrelevant to reflecting quality; maybe of the structural strength of the mirror .
- In the second case , reflecting material on the backward face, has not any notable difference ; the image could be darker more material to absorb light ; maybe displaced due to diffraction on a glass plate ( usually not noticeable ) .
