Why does a mirror made of thin glass is better than a mirror made of thick glass? Justify answer based on the refraction of light.​

  1. Mirror reflection has nothing to do with the thickness of the glass where the reflection material is spreaf on ( if galss is used)
  2. Using galss there are two types of mirror , one if the reflecting material is on the forward face of the galss or on the backwar face of the glass .
  3. In the first case , reflecting material is on the glass irrelevant to reflecting quality; maybe of the structural strength of the mirror .
  4. In the second case , reflecting material on the backward face, has not any notable difference ; the image could be darker more material to absorb light ; maybe displaced due to diffraction on a glass plate ( usually not noticeable ) .
