Why does a paper by itself catches fire easily but a piece of paper wrapped around on alluminium pipe doesnt

Paper by itself catches fire easilybecause it attains its ignition temperature .Hence burns. Whereas, Apaper wrapped in aluminum pipe does not burn because: ---> Aluminum is ametal and a good conductor of heat.
