Why does a person fall when he jumps out from a moving train

before jumping out of the bus the body initially is in rest form what is the best person suddenly jumped out of the train it suddenly comes into motion.

So lets begin..

When a person is in the train he/she stores some virtual inertia in his body....so the body continues the velocity in the train...but as soon as the legs on the ground ...they are at rest...so the legs stops and the body moves making the person to tribble or fall from the train..
