This is because the relative motion of the other passenger with respect to us is zero.

All the passengers in the bus move with the same velocity as that in the bus, so do we. Let the velocity be \displaystyle\sf {V.}

Consider one person travelling in the bus who moves with the same velocity \displaystyle\sf {V.}

★ Our velocity is taken as \displaystyle\sf {V.}

★ The velocity of the other person considered is also taken as \displaystyle\sf {V.}

Then the relative motion of the person with respect to us is,

\displaystyle\longrightarrow\sf {V-V=0}

This means that the person remains to be rest with us at a particular time. That is why we or any other passenger are not able to see his/her motion in the bus.
