The correct answer would be option a i.e  mouth

Mouth contains salivary glands which secrete saliva and that is why the food becomes wet.This makes the process of swallowing much easier.

Also the food tastes a bit sweet because the enzymes in saliva converts starch into maltose in the mouth.
