Hii..

↪️As you know in a Hypotonic solution endosmosis occurs ..so if a cell is kept in a hypotonic solution it will swell up.

↪️Plant cell has a cell wall which is absent in animal cell so when both the cells are kept in he hypotonic solution the wall of the plant cell provides turgor pressure against the cell membrane and prevents it from bursting.

↪️In animal cell in the absence of cell wall the cell membrane doesnt hav a pressure support and due to endosmosis it bursts after a limit unlike plant cell.

Plant cells contain a special wall that prevents them from 'bursting' when placed inside and hypotonic solution. The cell continues to absorb water until the "pressure inside the cell equal to the pressure outside the cell". It is said that the cell has become turgid. 'Animal cells' do not have such walls to prevent them from bursting.

Explanation:

A 'hypotonic solution' is a solution which has higher concentration than the other solution. It is also said that a hypotonic solution contains 'less solute' and has more water than the other solution.
