Answer:

Plants like all living beings needs food for their survival.These are 'Autotrophs' means they have the power to synthesize their own food through the process called 'Photosynthesis' I.e. 'putting together through light'.During this process , the plant traps the sunlight through the pores present in the plants .

It's main food Is the 'Glucose' which helps a plant to remain alive and have the proper growth .

This 'Glucose' is obtained by the plants from the inorganic molecules I.e. "Carbon dioxide" & "water" through the light energy.

The reaction is as follows :-

6CO2 + 6H20 + Energy ----> C6H12O6 + 6O2
