Why does a prism refract all 7 colors of light while a glass slab does not?

Cause of dispersion of light through prism :

When a white light enter the first surface of a prism, light of different colours due to their different speed in glass , get deviated through different angles toward the base of prism that is dispersion of its seven colour take place at the first surface of prism.

On the second surface of prism only refraction take place.

Note : Dispersion of white light take place at first surface of prism.
