why does a sharp knife cut object more than effectively does blunt knife​

Answer:

It is based on the law of physics.

The law is as surface area decreases the pressure increases.

In case of a blunt knife whose edges are not sharp and are wide the knife cannot apply that amount of pressure which a sharp knife can due to its thin sharp edges.
