Snail moves with a single foot by sliding it.As they crawl they secrete slime which helps them to slide easily and also their muscle present in their foot is small so they cant hold lots of pressure,so these are the reasons which makes them to go slowly.

Whilst they are moving, snails leave behind a trail of mucus. This mucus acts as a powerful lubricant to reduce friction against the surface. This is why they are able to move upside down, around corners, and other situations. Although they don't move fast, they do move at a very steady pace.
