why does a thin wire have more resistance? I need a scientific explanation not the reason that Resisitance is inversely proportional to the area of cross section of the conductor .

a thin wire has more resistance bcoz if the place is small then electrons have more difficulty to flow,it means the current will less
hence their will more resistance
on the other hand if the place is large like thick wire ,then the electrons can easily move.means the current will flow easily
hence there will b lesser resistance
