why does ac current is not use during electrolysis ?

directly i should say - ac is not needed at all thrfore

any ways see alternating current is needed only when u wants to make ur 1 way current flow in extraordinarily other different branches of ur piece of wire. for single straight wire u see the ac current and dc current will be same n

because u know very well that if u have to travel in straight pathway the displacement is same as that of ur distance traversed

because anode and cathode are constantly switching places .AC produces explosive mixture's hydrogen and oxygen. so that DC current is used during electrolysis
