acids are able to conduct electricity
because when acid are dissolved in water they form H+ ion or H3O+ ion
both of these ions allow electricity to pass
while if it is a weak acid it has less charged partickes in it and thus conducts less electricity
similarly, if it is a strong acid it has more charged particle and thus conducts more electricity
but please note that alone H+ ion cannot conduct electricity as there are no electrons present .
so for it to conduct electricity it has to react with molecules of water
hope this helps you

Acids are compounds that readily disassociate into positive and negative ions when dissolved and cause water to do the same. Bases exhibit the same behavior. Having charged particles in a solution makes it much easier to transmit a current through a material. Undisolved acids or bases are similar to pure water. It can transmit a charge but the resistance is very high, especially in solid forms.
