Why does alpha h at bridge carbon not participate in tautomerization?

This might be due to the fact that bridge carbons form very very unstable carbocations or cabanions.
So it might be the case that it doesnot allow the H to involve in tautomerisation as even for an instant it will get a charge which is very unstable.
