The adopted children are genetically different from there parents thats why thy don;t resemble there parents

Hi there, so my answer may not be correct because I don't and never studied Environmental Sciences but if you're talking about physical resemblance then that has to do with the fact that the adopted parents are not the biological parents so the child doesn't have the genes, or chromosomes, to resemble the adopted parents.
However, if you're talking about characteristics, or traits or how they act then it may also be due to the fact that the child is not their biological child as the child's biological parents may act differently from the adopted parents so those inner traits were passed on to the child. And if the child is still in an early age when adopted then more or less, the personalities they're surrounded with will override the genetic makeup of how they act- this may not occur instantly, but it'll probably become noticeable at a later but not too late age.
