Why does an aquarium need to have cleaned once a while? do we need to clean the ponds too in the same manner? why? why not?

Aquarium is an artificially made enviornment. It is man made and it cannot work like natural surroundings does. We need to change water once in a while , we have to feed fishes , we have to provide many equipments to keep those fishes alive when they are in an aquarium. But coming to a pond , ocean and other natural water bodies, we need not to provide all of those stuff. I will explain why is it so.
1. ✴ Why we often need to clean it ? ✴
Because, an aquarium is entirely covered with glass and there is no chance that the excretions and wastes from fishes can be removed without changing the water. But in ponds and others, there will be soil in the deep most part. It can decompose these wastes. And sometimes, ponds hold some planktons which feeds on these wastes.
2. ✴ Need of feeding the fishes ✴
We feed fishes when they are put in an aquarium, this is because they can't find food by themselves . But in pond or something, they can eat on small insects and some aquatic plants in it.
3. ✴ Need of extra tech to keep them alive ✴
We need to provide air pump to provide oxygen , a top for stopping them from jumping out , filters to clean the aquarium etc.. Because it cannot be done by an other manner. But in ponds , these equipments are not at all needed. Ponds have algae to keep it clean, fishes can feed on these algae and other aquatic plants or organisms.

Aquarium needs to be cleaned at certain intervel because the remains of the food that we give and the waste material that they produce lie their itself .their are no decomposition happening their due to the lack of decompsers .so it become difficult for the fish to live ...that is why we need to clean aquarium
