There many reasons for astronauts to wear the special suits are :
• The temperature in outer space is extreme . It is sometimes freezing cold and sometimes extremely hot.
• There is no atmosphere or air to maintain the counter pressure of our blood and body. If there is no special suit the blood in our body comes out of our body in great pressure.
• There is no oxygen or other gases and for respiration we need oxygen. Therefore the oxygen cylinder is connected to the suit helping the astronaut to breathe.
